Sepp Muster

Sepp and Maria Muster live in a beautiful house at the end of a windy road not far from the small town of Schlossberg. The vineyards themselves, at a typical altitude of 450-470 m, are notably rocky with clay and silt soils dominating their steep, hand-worked slopes.

At Sepp Muster, they aim for wines that are made with as little intervention as possible, allowing them all the time they need to ferment and mature. They use biodynamic viticulture and all of the work is done according to the Lunar Calendar. They are making superb value elegant wines from Styria and some ways act as a benchmark for style and quality in this region with an ever increasing reputation for excellent wine.
