Fog Linen Work

Founded by Yumiko Sekine, Fog Linen Work began with a simple desire to bring everyday linens back into daily life. In the 1990s, while importing vintage housewares and books from Europe and the U.S., Sekine noticed how difficult it was to find the humble, well-made linens she remembered from her childhood.
Her search led her to Lithuania, a country with a rich tradition of flax cultivation. There, she collaborated with local producers to create her first collection — just seven linen essentials for the home.
Today, Fog Linen Work has grown into a beloved brand offering a full range of linen homewares and clothing, alongside complementary collections: fog et cetera, a line of hand-forged metal goods from India, and miiThaaii, a cotton-based series inspired by everyday life in India.
Simple, timeless, and thoughtfully made — Fog Linen Work continues to define a natural lifestyle, guided by Sekine’s vision of creating beautiful, useful things for everyday living.
