Joschuari is medium-bodied, expressive and complex. Deep blueish/purple color. Heady aromas of blueberry, mulberry and violet, with fresh herbs and fine, crushed stone. This is a unique and delicious expression of Austrian Blaufrankisch.
A Blend of old vine Blaufrankisch grapes, hand harvested and fermented in neutral oak barrels. The vines were planted on heavily graveled soil, resulting in a powerful, concentrated wine.
Hand haervested Blaufrankish parlt fermented on the skins in wooden and concrete vats then aged in wooden barrels. Bottled unembellished, unfiltered and without addition of sulphur.
*family tree description
"Mechtild and Bertholdi's son, the brother of Emmeram and Timotheus, and married to Wiltrude. A man with style and a charismatic, complex character, he has a mind of his own. Indeed, as the principal heir to Gut Oggau, with his dry humour and quick wit, he can more than stand up to his father."
